The third edition of Fuerteventura to Run took place from October 30th to November 6th of this year and had the participation of half a hundred tourist runners, to whom Payless provided a vehicle with special conditions.

The runners, of 16 different nationalities, were able to enjoy a cheap rental car in Fuerteventura at a reduced price, which allowed them to travel nearby and discover the delights of the island.

Fuerteventura to Run, a race that combines tourism and sport

Can you imagine travelling to a paradisiacal destination and also having the possibility to practice your favourite sport? This is precisely what Fuerteventura to Run pretends, a test that this year held its third edition and has brought together fifty runners from more than 16 countries. Of course, in Payless we didn't want to miss the opportunity to do our bit. The race Fuerteventura to Run is included in the IX Alltours ½ Maratón Internacional Dunas Fuerteventura, a longer sports event that already enjoys a certain international renown. The tour is divided into four different stages, which add up to approximately 60 km of distance and that allows the runners to visit some of the areas and towns with the most tourist interest of the island. In addition, during the moments of leisure and rest the runners have the opportunity to carry out activities of the most varied, as for example a visit to the Island of Lobos.

The organizers of this interesting initiative are Zitoway Sports and Adventure, a company created in Italy that has specialized in adventure tourism and has several years of experience organising this type of events of high caliber.
